Frequently Asked Questions

Patch testing is one of the best,  easiest ways to determine the irritant responsible for contact allergy (Allergic Contact Dermatitis). Usually when a patient complains of a persistent rash that doesn’t disappear after standard treatment, our professionals will recommend allergic patch testing. This diagnostic procedure includes applying patches with trace amounts of possible allergens from products, foods, or substances and examining the skin's response. Once our specialists determine that patch testing is right for you, they will assemble a unique test, tailored to your environment and allergen exposure. As soon as the outcomes have been processed, you'll know which products to avoid and which  you can use.

What Is Allergic Patch Testing?

Mohs surgery (also known as Mohs micrographic surgery) is a skin cancer treatment that utilizes a microscopic lens to inspect layers of tissue beneath a cancerous sore. This innovative method allows the surgeon to get rid of only as much tissue as is needed (i.e. only malignant cells) while limiting the amount of damage to healthy tissue. Our tissue processing laboratory is on-site and state-of-the-art which enables us to perform this procedure quickly, efficiently and comfortably for the patient.
